In a post 9/11 world the idea of a pilot opening the cockpit door for any reason is kind of unfathomable. The show falls apart at that exact moment for me.

Most games don't lend themselves to esports formats. Shooters, MOBAs and Fighting games are the only ones with consistent, big followings. RTS can work but there just aren't a lot of games in that genre and only Korea seems to care about them.

I think there are a bunch of "decent" shows worth watching this season. I don't usually watch a ton of stuff per season but the two you mentioned, Undead Murder Farce, Liar Liar, Zom, and Ayaka are all new shows this season currently in my "seem interesting, will keep watching" bucket
