Spark is awesome with threshold jewels and pierce/proj speed. Ball lightning can now be supported with the new EB changes that prevent casting from interupting energy shield recharge
For those worried about arc, spark and ball lightning are also strong lightning alternatives. Depending on what they do with occultist and the cold damage teasers will determine if I go lightning or cold from the gates.
So I was thinking of doing Occultist/MoM with that new EB unique helmet assuming feast of flesh doesn't break anything and nothing in the patch notes makes me do a 180. 6k Life and 6k ES. I'm not set on a skill just yet so I threw in Arc just for shits and giggles, but it can be almost anything...
So Slippery Jim did some testing on the new 30% quality for 6 linking, so check it out for the maths. And this will be a good intro for the noobs and the insanity that is Slippery Jim.
Is 30% better than 20% quality for linking? (slipperyjim8) • r/pathofexile
I remember when forsaken masters got released and the wealthy mod was the only thing that existed that boosted mob drops, and I got a Tora blue pack of 30 all with wealthy mod.
And nothing of value dropped...
Exalts can add mods to rares, but its an expensive so only worth doing if you're rolling in currency. Don't forget to make sure if you have the right prefix/suffix open etc
Depends on the strong box. Diviners/Cartos/Arcanists you'll want to alteration till you get +items or %quantity. It might be worth it to vaal blacksmith/armorer if they're +items/mirrored for 6 links
Orchard does have some barriers but they usually have opens on all 4 sides. It's not enough to make me not want to run it but I'm sure leap slam does help
Don't waste chisels on low tier maps, save them for red maps. Just keep alch and going, you're prolly in a bad rng streak. Alch and go should be able to sustain you into yellows easily, especially as you get a higher completion bonus.
League mechanics usually get added to the base game and then carry over for the rest of poe's existence unless they're shit or need balancing first. Strong boxes, shrines, breaches, abysses, etc, they've all been added through leagues.
Good, torture chamber was aids to clear
Clear speed? Since you'll be blowing through most things anyways, cyclone keeps you moving. Could always swap out to BF if you want more damage for bosses.
Generally RF helms want the 30% elemental mod over conc effect so they don't have to deal with the reduced aoe. Only a rich boy would have both and swap out for bosses.
Skeletons aren't really worth it unless you do something wacky like the skelemage army. I would focus on either spectres or zombies. And dump all energy shield and go full life, hybrid life/es doesn't work often either.
Yeah, just start chain running maps. Your spec/skills are all over the place, I'm assuming you're going for a generic summoner build? There's plenty you can check out on reddit/poe that will help you out.
That's for a specific brand - You'll want to search tri-ply like this. If you wait long enough you can get a good set of tri-ply for under 200

Macy's usually has nice sales on tri clad stainless steel sets, so keep on eye out for one of those. As far as knives, if you want great bang for buck try out victoronix.
It gets better when you can link more supports, but your base skill alone can make a huge difference early game, so try a few different ones and find something you enjoy playing.
Map sustain shouldn't be an issue. With all the currency you'll be getting from delve/incursion you can buy t15/16's. It's possible to sustain making sure you constantly use sextants/etc but that's too much effort for me. I'd rather just alc and go.
For leveling there really is no "trick" as far as DPS, certain skills are just way better than others. For example Blade Vortex will always out perform Ethereal Knives even though they're both phys spells that use similar passives/supports. After that, its just a matter of using as many damage...
Resists cap at 75%. The number over 75% is how much your overcapped. There is no benefit to being overcapped except for curses that lower resistances. When you defeat Kitava you get resistance penalties which just make it harder to get back to 75% cap. There is also gear/auras that can give +...
