I just upgraded from a galaxy s8 to a pixel 3. I would classify the Samsung shit as "mildly annoying". I definitely prefer the pixel (aside from battery life) but I definitely wouldn't call it a deal breaker. The S8 is a nice phone with a little annoying crapware on it.
