Switch axe, tried it last night. The elemental chainsaw attack is badass. I saw some dude with it look like he mounts the monster(but is just stuck to it) and then does it but wasn’t sure how to replicate. More research required.
For the new people trying to decide what to use here is my experience, more or less in order of what I like from best to least:
-Hunting Horn just flows for me, the added support makes me feel like I am helping even when I am terrible.
-Lance loved it when I started playing(don't use it much...
I know it is sad...I got near the end before they patched a way to cure yourself so I basically saw everything the game has to offer but the jump scares at night when tired freak me out.
Man I walk through my local target almost every day and I didn't last week. Checked yesterday and all the good stuff was gone. If you remember give me a heads up next time!
So much more to do! Feels like a game now, not sure yet if you should buy it. Will require more time played, enjoying the tutorial for whatever that is worth. Playing on survival settings, maintaining hazard shield is a PITA.
Getting into a damage/exhaust hunting horn build. Deviljho horn is insane... Life up XL-Attack up L-Defense up L! and biggest hitter the FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!????
Terraforming Mars, after playing with broken token stuff I just can't go back to the flat mats. Being able to lock cubes in place turns this game from fun to near perfect engine builder.
Headed to Angel Fire, NM in a week for a 3 day ride. Super excited for my first DH park.
Also looking into DJs after hanging with these guys:
and realizing how much easier it is to jump and pump on a DJ vs full suspension.
The more I play this on PS4 the more I think my time would be better spent trying a new build on DS3 or BB. I am enjoying it but I know it could be so much better in every way.
