You can have one million gold and have enough gear to clear mp0 pretty reliably. Upgrades per piece are like 2mil each, then 8mil, then around 20mil each. There's always things you can snipe on the AH too. I'm at the 200mil+ per upgrade point and have saved up about 70mil towards the upgrade...

I too greatly enjoyed vanilla WoW. The farming of skins in the yeti caves and rogue vs rogue was amazing. Hell, having a group of people come try and track you down without you being able to sneak out was ridiculous amazing. I'd rather PvP in the Hodir quest area a million times over than...

When you make it so there's gear gained from PvP, battlegrounds etc.. all that.. it ruins PvP. No one wants that any more. A PvE game with separate PvP enabled servers is all you need. Let people fight over content, not grind honor.

I thought the positioning etc was its own breed and had no problems. Abilities fire when used etc. If it doesn't play like WoW's UI or you can't jump and spin 4 times in the air, most people do throw their hands up. My problem came from the only "PvP" we regularly found being PvDoor/guard...
