There are morons who don't understand what they're actually supposed to be doing in every facet of life. Drinking oil is ridiculous. So I got a rumble roller and lacrosse ball and have been rolling out my shoulders with them. It's horrific and amazing at the same time.

I was pissed about having to pay title insurance on my house. Then 2 years after I bought it and was living in it I got a letter from my lawyer that the house had a lien on it. Luckily the lienholder did not care about the property and didn't cause a fuss (seller's sister). Basically in my...

Less carbs, more fiber, more protein. Doesn't seem like much for each 100g serving but I suppose it adds up if you're a rice/quinoa fiend. I refuse to eat either.

You've taken an indefensible position and are realizing you've painted yourself into a corner. You are now declaring you need concrete evidence that Kratz was aware of what was happening in the investigation despite already being given it directly from the documentary. All the while clinging to...

Jive, are you being obtuse? Did you watch the documentary? Or are you just plain stupid? Kratz is the man who said that the Manitowoc police would not be involved in a public press conference. He is also the special prosecutor for the case. Do you know how the legal system works and how the...

Hrmm that's interesting. My cast iron pan doesn't lose temp by much at all after I put the steak down. Then it's fully reheated by the time I flip. Also have an electric stove here.

Broiling steaks works very well. I used to give mine a quick pan sear and then finish in the broiler before I got the Anova but even when I didn't pan sear them first they came out nicely. Just make sure you put the rack all the way at the top just under the broiler.

Well we're in agreement. I've never really had the luxury of real QA staff so I've always done that and more. I'm guessing you've worked with developers who call it good enough if it compiles and then just throw it into a testing environment and tell QA "ready to test"?

What's the hourly rate vs expected salary? What's expected PTO? Contract work and being paid hourly is almost always the better choice. I make almost twice as much as an hourly contractor than I did as a salaried employee. I pay $250 more a month for healthcare (would be more for you since...

Making a Murderer (Netflix) - New info

The documentary is biased insofar as the creators tried to get the other side of the story but everyone on the other side of the story declined to participate. It's not biased (in my opinion) beyond that and that's through no fault of their own.

Developers do test functionality, you can't code anything that actually works without doing so. QA shouldn't need to be replaced though, because what you're describing is exactly what QA is supposed to be. Unfortunately it rarely is, if the company even has QA staff at all.

If you can even believe the testimony, which was obtained by the same 2 detectives who have clearly shown they don't care about the truth, just what they're interested in hearing. Anything presented as evidence by that police department and DA is suspect. You can't trust any of it.
