I can only guess that Perfect World, having been at this dance for awhile now with Champions and Star Trek Online, figured that their existing infrastructure had already been tested and proven and thus did not feel the need for such analysis. Not to mention that parsing all that log data does...
Latest update:
Update 4:00PM Pacific: The Neverwinter Team is working to address this issue still including a very thorough investigation. More information will come with our next update.
I can only imagine how tense that meeting is
Yeah I knew some serious shit was gonna go down when I logged in and EVERY auction I had up had sold...even the stuff that was posted for what had been ludicrous prices the night before. So I have clearly profited from this craziness as has everyone who received a cat etc. Other than a...
It does make sense.
Praxis blew up because the Klingons overmined the shit out of it in a scramble for more dilithium to fuel their war machine. In this timeline the Klingons have accelerated things to the point where they have already mined the shit out of Praxis and it blew up.
Why...
Celiac is a very real and deadly thing. I first learned of it decades ago as a friend of our family is Celiac and the things she went through were quite terrifying. All the attention gluten stuff has gotten these days has at least made her life a lot more tolerable if not exactly pleasant...
I really don't care for this whole ridiculous warp speed thing they have going with the new movies. It was also present in Enterprise as well so I suppose it is semi consistent, but they seem to be able to go from anywhere in the federation to anywhere else in the federation in a matter of a...
Celestial Coins have a max of 7 and yeah they go away each day if you don't log in to pray. These are mainly used for profession packs at 5 days or enchantment pack at 7 days. The enchantment pack looks like the worse deal until you account for the 'coalescent wardstone' that frequently drops...
I kinda had a feeling it was going F2P real soon. The content updates and indeed any sort of info dried up after the Regulos dungeon came out post Storm Legion and post Hartsman.
Hopefully this is a move that can reinvigorate the game by shaking up the playerbase some. Will be interesting...
Krieg unlocks today in about 2 hours. Gonna do yet another playthrough because he does look pretty damn fun. $10 might be a bit steep for a DLC character with no other content, but I have no problem with supporting quality.
I havent done that one yet. So far it's spiders and mad dragon among a ton of pirates farming (due to knocking the trash off ledges making it a faster experience). I honestly think they messed up the hit point totals on some of the boss trash as many of the swarm adds have 5-10x the hit points...
The Man-at-arms served me well until the content outlevelled him (since he's limited to rank 15). He was able to grab and hold aggro very nicely while I killed things.
I still havent tried Castle Never yet. My experience in Tier 2 dungeons has been spotty at best and so would rather find...
It is really quite smart of them to do this in a LOL/DOTA style of character selection. Allows them to tap into the market of people who will pay anything to be their favorite marvel character as well as 'gotta catch em all' types who want to collect every possible character and costume. Has a...
I will say that it has been some time since I've played a game where I was kept on the verge of a heart attack while fighting against bosses. So much of the boss fights end up being only barely controlled chaos and, in a way, that is a bit more like what a melee should be rather than a simple...
Executives at Warner Brothers have to be pissing their pants. DC Comics has been part of a major media conglomerate for over 30 years and the best they've managed is admittedly kickass animated series and Smallville/Arrow. Disney buys Marvel and within a few years has a dominant multi-picture...
Surely someone at BBC America's shop just got hella-fired. Trying to stay clear of accidental spoiler is gonna be hard, may have to enter a coma for a week.
The art style is very good in my estimation. It certainly feels high fantasy D&D to me and they make a point to include D&D staples like mimics and beholders etc. My only complaint, and it is minor, with respect to the art and setting is that they overuse pirates. You fight orcs in one...
This is why Recovery is your friend. Clerics have to have it in order for people to live, but it is valuable for everyone. With Recovery and some set bonuses you can cast encounter problems almost one after the other and dailies refresh like mad.
They seem to be focusing each of these initial episodes on a character and building them up individually. Could be nice if all this eventually pays off down the road, otherwise it is wasted time.
The big revelation from last weeks episode:
The reviewers have been quite down on this, but then again the reviewers hated Moulin Rouge as well. I will say that that Fergie song is insanely catchy.
You don't. Thankfully Healing Word is the only heal that you have which requires targeting a party member and it is pretty damn useless after the first few levels (this may change however).
Virtually all of your healing is done by Divinity powered Forgemaster's Flame on an enemy which heals...
Yeah Im pretty sure that encounter literally has a misplaced decimal point. It has been that way since the very first beta weekend though, so I have to guess that it is wrapped up in some monster content update they are amassing.
To Pyros' point : many of the fights involve a truly chaotic...
The dungeon boss difficulty is all over the map. I think this is due, in part, to the encounter design team working in a vacuum compared to the class design folk.
Let's say you make a boss and decide to really make it melee unfriendly and encourage high movement and spreading out. In most...
What the 7 day reward is good for isnt the enchants but the wards. The level 60 weapon and armor enchants are made by combining shards you get off boss mobs into the final enchant just like normal... except for armor enchants the success chance is 1% soooo you pretty much have to use a no-faill...
Cloak Tower is the end dungeon for the first zone, when you get sent back to Sgt Nox he should send you on a couple of things in town dealing with the Linkletter family and then on to the next zone after you finish all that. I never really ran out of content, if anything by the end I was one...
Some perks are one character per account or tied to the account (the Astral Diamonds as a whole are to the account and can be claimed in various chunks by different characters) others are for each character. Notably each character gets the purple Companion and mount.
Mounts otherwise cost...
At 60 now with my Cleric, have to do guild groups (joined some random-invite folx who seem quite decent) or sit in the queue for a LONG time. Having the bonus chest at the end means that it is really only worthwhile to do organized runs during Dungeon Delve events, which is actually kinda nice...
Before DC Comics decided to go full retard and reboot the universe badly a couple years back they had a pretty nifty long arc called New Krypton that basically dealt with Kryptonian society after the Kandor citizens get unbottled and take up residence on a manufactured 'new krypton' that shares...
Down again or still? So far all their problems seem more networking related than server load, although it was pretty clear they had done some throttling and redistribution of instance server capacity to try and manage the tidal wave. I got into a couple of Skirmishes earlier where the bosses...
The Legacy weapon gets you through to the level where the first dungeon queues unlock (15? 16?) so you can speed through that largely solo content and get to a point where you have a companion, queueable daily dungeons, daily quests etc.
The wolf comes as a companion on all your characters...
Fighters are 'Defenders' in D&D and so while the Great Weapon Fighter is not as pure a tank as a Guardian Fighter, they are still capable of performing that role. GWF are a hybrid DPS/Tank primarily intended to be an off-tank in a 5 man group.
All CC is damage friendly from what I can tell. If something is frozen or levitated or whatever then feel free to beat on it, not only is it not gonna fight back but it will probably take additional damage from you as you gain Combat Advantage etc.
I take back what I said earlier about it...
Since your character is actually[email protected]/* <![CDATA[ */!function(t,e,r,n,c,a,p){try{t=document.currentScript||function(){for(t=document.getElementsByTagName('script'),e=t.length;e--;)if(t[e].getAttribute('data-cfhash'))return...
