Resumed RoW this week and finished it. It did pick up and got quite enjoyable at the end. It just felt like a slow burn for most of the book. Sucks to wait now though for the next one.

Thought I posted in here yesterday but it did not take it seems. Are there any exclusives at all or planned for the ps5? I guess God of War? This is the first console generation I don't have any interest in. My PC is decked out with current year tech so maybe that's why.

I don't want to use acrylic for weathering. If I mess up it's hard to remove because it dries so fast. I use acrylic as base paint and clear coat. Want to weather with enamels because you can just use enamel thinner on a cotton swab and remove it if it looks like ass.

Having real trouble finding enamel paints over here that is not thinned washes. Only Humbrol is available and they are really strong and can eat through the paint, at least their thinner is. Normal oil paints should work right, that Bob Ross people use for paintings? And be able to use enamel...

Tried a benchmark a few days ago and the performance is way better now than it was back at release. Was at 100+ fps in the benchmark (max quality) with a 3080 at 1440p UW.

Took a new photo of our Norwegian Forrest cat. Was going to use him in cat shows as he has great potential to win and get offers for breeding but then covid happened sadly. So as of now he is just a house cat chilling away.

Yea I got 3 batteries with it and a charging station so should be good. Wouldn't surprise me if the batteries were mishandled. Will check that app for waypoints for sure. :)

Had some better temperatures today so took the Spark out for a test run in beginner mode. Worked pretty good but had some lost gps issues, I have not calibrated it yet so might be it and flew it close to the house. The battery seemed to lose power fast but might be due to almost 0C in...

MG Dynames Gundam done. Getting quite good results now with airbrush on the two latest builds so will probably try weathering a bit soon... maybe. Before and after painting.

Thanks! Yea I think all that is enabled and it freaks out. :p It seems very stable and the control calibration worked showing all the inputs. Cant wait for spring. This cold ass winter sucks.

The drone seems to be working fine. The normal controller is wierd though as the right stick is hit or miss. Tried calibrating once and it got better but does not respond all the time. No weather to try outside just now as it is -15C. I think I want to use the phone to control it anyway. Edit...

Thanks for the tips! Talked to the father and the kid who had it was handicapped and could not fly it well by himself so it has been on the shelf supposedly. Will check it a bit extra and try it out before I trade it!

Put my old phone up for sale and got offered a dji spark with extra batteries and stuff. It's in the ballpark the same value, maybe a bit less but my phone is pretty scratched. Anything to look out for when trading for it? I have only used those early $10 drones before.

Yea some red theme might work. I'm thinking they need a lot of shading to look good. If I check @Khalan 's awesome work the shading and blending make it really fucking good. Granted thats living beings and this is a metal robot thingy. Will have to practice on some pieces. :)

Still painting the other Gundam but took a break to build up this new kit I got in the mail. Now I just need khalan to paint the wings like his minis... Any color scheme suggestions? I have no imagination sadly. Usually steal others ideas and make tweak them a little. 😱

Current gunpla progress. Ran out of the good clear coats and the one I use now take ages to dry. The red parts were more orangey but the gloss made it red. Hope it reverts once I dull coat. Unpainted vs my version.

I tried using my sag bracket for the msi ventus 3080 and the msi sag bracket sagged... So I ended up throwing it in a drawer. The phanteks p500a got a built in bracket you mount behind the case and that straightened the card way better.

A relative just bought this one, 3300 euros or something like that. Guessing prebuilts last a bit longer in stock rather than 1 second.

Yea led strips is probably easiest. No shelf above, just the roof so it might be a bit high up. Haven't bought an led strip in ages, they might have gotten brighter nowadays so it could probably work mounting it way up. Otherwise I'll steal the GFs plant lights.

Got like 300 bucks or something at the 3080 release for my 1070. Not sure how the price went from then to now though.

Another Gunpla painted. Found a good paint for them now, Vallejo Mecha Color. Dries real hard even without clearcoats so I can assemble them easier. A before and after picture below.

Got a second 2 hander from the merchant to switch out the 2 handed axe I had. Now I cant windmilk like before by pressing Q, I just rush istead.
