    Let's talk about sex redux

For those who got their woman a Hitachi, but it is proving to be a little too powerful for them, you can buy a $20 speed controller for it which will allow you to tone it way down. Also some of the "attachments" that you put over the top will dampen the vibrations a bit and also allow you to...

    What would you rather?

I would rather be blind, I want my junk to continue to work, plus I'd get a free dog who is awesome. Would you rather fight 1 horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?

    The Beer Thread

WA is pretty much the craft beer capital of the U.S. and our governor wants to tax the craft breweries into the ground while giving the big three a tax break. I hate my state sometimes. http://www.washingtonbeerblog.com/el...bout-beer-tax/

Local sports talk station does a contest every year called "The Dance." They pick 64 celebrity women and put them against each other in a NCAA tourney style bracket. People can vote on each match-up either by calling in during the 'match' or by online voting. Person with the best bracket wins...

Adventures with Corndog: Corndog's Fish Store

This is the thing, your Yelp page is there whether you "go with them" or not. When you search for my restaurant on Google, after my website, the next thing that shows up are Yelp reviews. You can stick your head in the sand about it but if bad reviews are piling up there (for whatever reason)...

Yup, they are extortion artists. But unfortunately people still use Yelp to make purchasing decisions. Maybe in your industry what is on your Yelp doesn't make much of a difference, but in the restaurant industry or retail in Corndogs case, we don't have the luxury of ignoring it.

Adventures with Corndog: Corndog's Fish Store

Yelp has been accused of using some under-handed tactics to get you to sign up for their paid services. You can Google around (try "businesses hate yelp" or something along those lines) to see what people are reporting. I personally haven't had a problem with them (yet) but have sat through...

Adventures with Corndog: Corndog's Fish Store

Hey Corndog, one thing I was going to suggest to you is that you might want to be a little more discriminating when it comes to sharing sales numbers and financial information. There is a local bar/pub that I love eating at. The guy who runs it has a background in construction, not business...

    401K loans? good option?

One thing about the 11% return, you should also include any matching contributions by your employer when figuring that out. So matching+return might equal more than 11%. I actually had the opposite experience with financing. I had already gone to my bank to figure out what I could get and was...

You can probably find free streams, but really MLB.tv isn't very expensive, will ensure you get all the games and has lots of other neat features that I think make it totally worth it.

    Grills

I got my grill from Costco, propane, not natural gas (can they be converted?). It has held up very well and was probably the best value in features-to-price ratio. I have the infra-red and I love it. It can help heat the whole grill faster and when cooking steaks, I use the method outlined...

    2013 NFL Offseason and Draft

The thing about both the Niners and Hawks "read-option" QB's is that really neither of them actually run it that much. The only time the QB's are actually keeping the ball is when it is WIDE open, otherwise, it really is just a decoy to force a defensive player to stay with the QB and not go...

Credit Card Processing in a Small Business

I think I might have covered this in Corndogs thread, but dealing with merchant processors can be a pain in the ass. Really? Because in the restaraunt industry the rule of thumb I have always heard is that when you are a new opening, for around the first 6 months you can expect to run around 25% higher than what you can expect your "normal" sales level to be. Because of the newness factor and all... Not...

Also don't forget, while the cap has been stagnate for a few years now, pretty much everyone is expecting a jump into at least the $130mil range starting next season. These deals that seem like they are cap-killers now won't look like that a year or two down the road. Probably a great idea to...

No, they have a setup where you jump off while hooked to a set of cables that slow you down as you near the bottom. If you didn't know it was there it would look like people were offing themselves. And no, I didn't realize it was the ghetto beyond Stratosphere, but after running into the...

    2013 NFL Offseason and Draft

I live in the heart of Seahawks country. Seattle fans are impossible to talk sports with. In their world, one of two things ever happens with their teams, they either win because they are the greatest team ever, or they lose because of(insert lame excuse here, usually the refs). Never, ever...

    Las Vegas

Good tip. When I go on business I try to stay cheap. I made the mistake of staying at the Stratosphere this time around. Not only is it like a $15-$20 taxi ride to get to the strip, it is also a dump. I thought I could handle the walking, but not only is it a long walk, it is pretty shady...

Well obvious answer is your local bike shop. They will usually blow-out last years models or whatever isn't popular at the moment. Usually you will have even better luck finding a deal like that if you are an odd-ball size. For example, my local bike shop had great deals on any 26" wheeled...

Seahawks were only a 1/2 game behind the Niners last year despite their offense being neutered the first part of the season. They blew out the Niners (granted in Seattle, but still made them look silly) and were a blown-out-knee away from NFC Championship rubber match against the Niners. Now...
