Leoarjh is a good choice as well as he does dps and heals. Downside of the tanking ones is if you can't heal them they tend to die to silver names when you are leveling.

Yes the garrison quests do a pretty good job of explaining what the fuck is going on in the various daily questing hubs so its kinda nice once you get them and go back to those areas to really see whats up.

The problem pugging with low numbers is there is no room for error. Everybody has to be doing their job and doing it at least reasonably well. Get one or two schlubs and you either won't have the heals or won't have the DPS to succeed.

Frankly I would at this point be for removing major glpyhs and just adding another 3 minor glyph for fun cosmetic non combat stuff. It would be easier to balance/get some things fixed like starfall hitting every damn thing in an 80 yard diameter.

An epic mount or two is nice but honestly most of the level 100 stuff is so long that other than the few 4 hour missions you may be able to bang out in a normal play session there is not a ton of reason to go to wild with them.

My warrior is blacksmithing/engineering and I have not needed to use any resources not provided by my garrison buildings yet so I am not sure how much if any use you would get from mining/herbalism.
