Definitely feels like doing a timed unlock + requiring *someone* beat the encounter to unlock the next level increase would dramatically improve the server, especially if they backed it with changing the raid targets if the server was stuck for too long on a boss.

What would you think about the concept that level increases and expansion unlocks happen not only because of timed unlocks, but also when a server achieves those achievements for the first time? Such that level 65 is only unlocked when someone kills Sendaii.

Gotta imagine the box crews took a hit in the last wave of suspensions. Or maybe not. Rizlona should've just been a free macroquest server.

I camped Bergurgle a year or so ago on live during a bonus spawn and with zero competition. Was still a huge pain in the ass that took an entire weekend of getting stuff done around the house while killing the PH every half hour. I can't believe they can't widened some of the old epic bottlenecks.

I don't know what is gained from radio telescopes, but my guess is that the next big space telescope will relate to nearby asteroids. Identifying high-value asteroids or asteroids that risk space missions, specifically.

I agree that they should've released two pics at the start, one that was a "deep field" pic and one that was a "near field" pic like looking at Alpha Centauri or Andromeda. I'm just a layman but my understanding is that JWST is designed to see very far away objects instead of "nearby" objects...

    The 100 prisoners riddle

That's cool. Random numbers forming loops that can be controlled is a neat property. Good luck getting 99 convicts to follow directions from a nerd. Similar problem of numerical confusion:

The cool part about deep field is that they took the darkest part of the sky and peered into it, seeing an explosion of galaxies. Some context of how invisible the new Webb's deep field was with hubble would be useful.

Should is a really important word there. Old EQ addicts should have access to relatively bot-free servers and a semi-aggressive GM staff that professionally beats down cheaters like people around the world should have access to clean water as an essential human right. Just like everything else...

As a third party, even in this totally contrived and not realistic scenario the drama is totally worth how unprofessional it is. And this is a better scenario than the developers being disaffected and being happy to let the game go to shit because their game and tech ignorant boardmembers aren't...

Having fun with Space Exploration + Krastorio2. I haven't gotten to space yet so I guess I'm just having fun with Krastorio2. I'm disappointed there's not an equivalent to FactorioBox Maps for SE+K2 (and other mods that add tiles) or I could show off my spaghetti.

I know nothing about the internals of DPG but this rings the most true to me. These kinds of developer outfits are driven by individual developer's motivation to do something more than a cohesive strategy passed down from management. And that's typically a good thing with this anti-cheat move...
