There are major downsides to most cloud servers. Physical servers you can allow more people in a single location and not melt your performance. WoW moved to cloud based shit a while ago and as a result, if there are more than 50 people in a single area, it starts to act like shit.

Chris, you're forgetting that the game heavily encourages leveling other jobs. Slowing shit down XP wise would discourage that. As is, the XP gains were perfectly paced so that by virtually just doing the MSQ alone, you could play a single job and reliably hit the XP milestones needed to...

Best was nuking zerg players. If you targeted an overseer, the red dot would be obscured. Most zerg players never accounted for that and would try to find the red dot, not knowing they couldnt see it unless they moved all their overseers. Used to get so many easy kills that way.

Gold income is pointless if it doesn't re-enter the economy. As for the free orbs, you do get some free orbs eventually if you run enough side quests. I dont recall getting arena orbs for free, but then again I still have some side quests in reekwater I havent finished because they need a group

YoshiP and crew have been warning for months about to expect issues. They had like a 10 page blog post detailing issues with obtaining servers due to the microprocessor shortage, etc. It sucks but they've at least been trying to communicate this for a while now

They appear to be in the process of doing the first server merge - 2 mid pop servers in EU (600ish average each) EU gets to be the guinea pigs lol
