Going to try to get back into DS9 starting tonight. I started last year and got almost half through season 2, but stopped. I know I'm close to where it really starts getting good, so gonna push through I think.
Like I said, 40v40 is quite good....unless you're in a 300+ person guild. Wildstar is really the only game I'm looking forward to at this point, but then again Vanguard taught me to not get too overly hyped about anything too early. From what I've gathered, they say you build your warplot up...
So does GW2, but it also allowed 100 of us on a lucky night to pvp together. In the end though, you're most likely right especially considering the apparent Camelot Unchained push.
I'll try to find the twitter stuff regarding the survey. Hell maybe I read it wrong

@m4gicfe4ther Actually, we start by picking people that have machines that can support the current client. Also, cookies.

So, help me understand this. Those that were invited to beta so far filled out a survey with computer specs? I'm gathering that from Twitter, but I know I've signed up with 3 email accounts and never once gave them any computer spec info other than checking the box when signing up saying that...
Well, at least more than 40 per side. That's quite a good number for many people, but if PRX were to choose to go to Wildstar officially then we're going to have issues if it's capped at 40. I see in today's Feature Friday, the server guy hints at a pvp ruleset realm, so that could be...
I'm really looking forward to this, but it may have to be a spare time game for me due to the pvp aspect. If the best this can offer is 40 vs 40 then that's not going to be enough. Maybe there's info out there that we don't know, but from what I've heard the warplots are going to be either 20...
Coming from someone who has never cracked open one of the books, I thought the episode was excellent. As said above, the grandmother was great. I also loved the bit with Bran and the Reeds. Interested to see where that's going. Knowing that the creators of the show have said season 3 is...
For years I refused to watch Friends because it was the "in" thing. Then I finally started watching in season 5 or 6 and was pretty much hooked immediately. I still catch reruns and it's still hilarious to me.
I was poking around on youtube last night and came across a guy doing a review on last night's episode. He did make one good point about continuity. The folks north of the wall apparently have had no time lapse at all. We pick up pretty much exactly(within say an hour) of where season 2 left...
What is true is that many breeds can trace their origins to the Mastiff. This includes Great Dane, Boxer, Bulldog, Saint Bernard, Bullmastiff, and many others. This concludes my semi-useless trivia.
I have English Mastiffs and kids in the house. They are extremely loyal to anyone living in the house and the kids have tugged on, sat on, and crawled over them and they don't mind one bit. Now if there's a knock at the door or a stranger you will know if immediately. I'm sure many breeds...
I know it's all scripted and such, but I still enjoy it when I catch it. Si is a trip. All I can think about when I see Phil is that he was the starting QB ahead of Terry Bradshaw in college.
So what's the deal with this? Is the beta for Koreans only? I've seen videos of americans and other non-Koreans in the beta. How can one do this? Loved me some SWG back in the day and this has my interest.
I believe Bo Jackson was the fastest ever, but was before the electronic timing. He was clocked at 4.15 apparently which is insane considering he was like 220 pounds.
The Wire
The Sopranos
The West Wing
Mad Men
There are others I'm sure, but these stand out as ones I'd like to see
I usually get to shows very late. I didn't get into Friends until like season 6 and loved it and quickly caught up and then kept up. Rome is another that is a great one...
I'm looking at installing this to at least see what it's all about. I have a PC that's a few years old though with a core 2 duo CPU. I get the following when looking at the compatibility:
Your processor doesn't have NX turned on or might not support NX
Setup will attempt to turn on NX...
Does anyone know of a way to watch H2 online or anything? I don't get the channel and I want to check it out.
edit: Apparently you can watch some on the history site. Not sure what all is available yet.
I just started watching this and it's amazing. It's old (1973) but it's the best WWII documentary out there and it's like 26 hours long. Here's a clip of them talking about transferring it to Blu Ray.
