@Mizake the Undertow expansion is stand alone and has new mechanics, the extra dice have come in handy when playing with 4 people. Zero complaints with anything that comes in that box.

Where could they add narrative? You get that stuff between combat, which is almost every pen and paper RPG I have ever run. TMBs narrative has to fit on a playing card too.

OK beat the demo twice, once as strength Odai heavy armor with magic, and again as hatchets and ninjitsu. Magic is good for debuffs but ninjitsu out damages it by 500%. Unless something major changes no magic damage builds again. Great game, can’t wait for launch.

It is more Nioh, same inventory management which was the worst part. Skill tree is worse IMO because you can’t see what the nodes do until you highlight them. If they add a quick build switch I won’t care about above.

Daedalus Hammer upgrade is key to any build, get that early and build off that. My tier list: -Stygian blade: Instant Nova+knockbacks+extra pillar/debris/wall damage(poseidon). -Eternal Spear: Extended jab, combine this with other range increases and you can poke people a full screen away...
