The only thing bad about Epoch was the infrastructure and server stability. When it was actually running, the gameplay and content were top notch.

I don't understand why they would be salty. Going onto the Ascension launcher is a HUGE win for Epoch. Apparently there is enough development there for the Ascension guys to accept them onto their platform.

That's like saying SoD had to compete with Anniversary Classic. Two wildly different game modes with plenty of interest for each.

Which is really fine. Since they lowered xp rates to 1x (wotlk 1x) for BB. Given they already have Ony and MC ready to go on launch and will still have BWL, ZG, AQ, and Naxx to go as well, TBC and WotLK can wait.

I like that in 3.3.5, I don't have to download the quest tracker to see stuff on the map. I still do, but it's no longer required. 3.3.5 also feels better when in combat and smoother transition between spells.

I've never once used the word "unplayable." The game isn't that hard or complicated. But there ARE a lot of useful QoL that 1.12 simply doesn't offer that add-ons / later versions do.

Epoch has basically lost all momentum and hype. Serves them right. As far as TWoW's client, the 1.12 client is so piss poor that you have to install a shitton of add-ons just to get any useful information out of it. It's probably best TWoW is going the direction of making their own client.

I honestly don't care about starting over. I've done it so many times it's just second nature now. Plus, if the guild I ran around in SoD wants to play, I'd start over anyway with them.

Staff on the server routinely say 1-2 months when the subject comes up. Your guess is as good as mine on if they can be believed

After playing both TWoW and BB, I will be sticking with BB. 3.3.5 client, 25 man raids, and heroic/mythic tier dungeons and raids is just too much to pass up

The QoL that comes with 3.3.5 just cannot be understated. TWoW is going to have to update if they hope to keep up with Ascension

I hope they delay full launch until well after TWoW fresh server goes live so it can absorb all the OMGFRESH morons. Maybe some sanity will return to BB then.

As said above, Turtle WoW has a fresh server coming Aug 17. Ascension Bronzebeard will release in "1-2 Months". If you want to wait that long for something.

Nevermind. The process of actually slotting enchants is not very well explained at all in game. But it's still stupid as hell that alters aren't fixed points in capital cities

On BB I can't slot an enchant without an alter. So saying there is no reason to interact with one is plain false.

5k+ concurrent players online without any network issues is pretty damn close. Their issues now are apparently database related.

I think BB is fun as is. It's not exactly the classic experience I'm looking for, but it's close enough until Epoch gets its shit together in a month or two. Way better than Turtle WoW because of the 3.3.5 client alone.

Just FYI, those who receive an invite link can't pay it forward. Which kinda sucks, but understandable. They don't want to blow up their own servers. This is a really fun version though. I'm enjoying it a lot.

Anyone have a Bronzebeard invite link? I've heard they are allowing current players to invite new people to the server. If I get one, I'll heppy to invite someone else that wants it.
