2021 NFL Offseason: QB Carousel Imminent -- Retirement Boogaloo

Miami still should probably take Sewell if he's there at 6. Since he probably won't be, not sure who they're targeting. Maybe with Flores being a Patriots guy wants to do the 2 TE thing and go for Pitts. If they do that hopefully neither him or Gesicki turn out to be murderers.

There seems to be some disconnect between young and too young. Also, this is a pretty dumb thing to debate over.

Yeah, between Ikoria with the companion mechanic and the fact that banned list for formats make every recent set feel more like urza block than a normal set I just kind of stopped playing. It's not even we tried this really weird card and it ended up busted. it's we have this obviously...

2021 NFL Offseason: QB Carousel Imminent -- Retirement Boogaloo

yeah, he's a fine stopgap, but that's what foles was supposed to be like 200 years ago. defense going to get old before they fix this shit.

I mean there's worse stopgaps than Dalton, but you'd think they're in it to be winning right now. Seriously though, I'm sure whatever intern moderates that twitter is probably enjoying himself.

Comments are the best part of this: "People will laugh at Andy Dalton, but he's basically what Tom Brady is without Gronk."

I mean, there's a non zero chance something triggered him while in court. Seems likely to not be planned out or like you said he'd have probably done it in the halls.

OU started out strong, but other than a couple of real minor runs it's been all Zags since.

    Justice League (2017)

Yeah i mean after watching a 4 hour movie, watching a 1 hour review of it isn't so bad! They actually hit most of the things i felt about it and overall I mostly agree with their general assessment of the movie, which is also kind of the majority opinion in this thread.

I can't think of another year where i've seen a lower percentage of nominated movies. I've seen very, very few of these.

    American Gods

This show has some really interesting moments but there's just so much shit in between that just mostly sucks. Most of the things that deviate from the book just isn't very good.

So yeah, the Stephen Strange comment in the Cap movie definitely is a bit of a continuity issue unless they're just keeping tabs on a douche surgeon.

Assuming you mean continuity and not release date, no. WS is set in 2014, infinity war is 2018

NBA 2020-2021: The Dubs Empire Strikes Back

Embiid had missed that many games and was still the favorite until he started missing even more time later. if it's more like 10-12 games that's different though. I don't think they particularly care about seeding, but this isn't great.
  32. Sterling

2021 NCAA Tournament and basketball funtimes.

yeah the season has been kind of a mess so seeding is a mess which is part of why there's so many upsets. the actual tournament games have been really good though.

2021 NFL Offseason: QB Carousel Imminent -- Retirement Boogaloo

sure there's some of that, but also you'd think teams would be drafting with depth and need in mind as well. although obviously it's a little different since some teams have more need in general for that kind of random depth than others so it's not an even distribution like the picks are.
  35. Sterling

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

Yeah, there's a pretty big gap from needing 30k for a car loan and needing a quarter million to get your business up and running.
  36. Sterling

2021 NFL Offseason: QB Carousel Imminent -- Retirement Boogaloo

yeah all those 5th to 7th guys, you draft 3-4 of them and some undrafted dudes and you just hope 1 or 2 can contribute.
  37. Sterling

2021 NFL Offseason: QB Carousel Imminent -- Retirement Boogaloo

yeah it was super low risk for a potentially good player. didn't pan out, but didn't really lose anything either. most 7th round picks don't end up making the roster anyways.
  38. Sterling

2021 NFL Offseason: QB Carousel Imminent -- Retirement Boogaloo

It's not even a 7th, it's a pick swap of 7ths. Obviously losing a tiny bit of draft capital sucks, but the guy seems like a somehow low effort waste. It's pretty rare for guys to be like that at that level. crazy.
