The reshoot rumors specifically stated it was to lighten the tone of the movie. That is what didn't sit well with many of us.

These trailers all seem pretty dark; if they really reshot a ton of it to make a lighter tone then they are fucking idiots because the dark tone leading to A New Hope is obviously needed. All that said, the trailer makes me more excited for this than Episode VII.

I watched this and Man of Steel on work flights. After all the flak I'd heard about both of them I was very surprised about how entertaining they both were. I think Man of Steel was by far the better of the two.
