Yeah, I'm definitely onboard with reading all 6 Frank books. Books 1 and 4 are the best of the bunch to me though, and books 5 and 6 are weird enough that I get why people wouldn't necessarily like them.

I post that chart in just about every Dune related thread. Option 4 is best, but option 3 is understandable. The Brian Herbert books are just legit bad. Just accept the ending of Chapterhouse.

I don't find her particularly attractive. I just don't think she's nearly as bad as a lot of the other women Hollywood has been pushing down everyone's throat. Both Denis Dune movies have been excellent. I would be shocked if this movie also didn't end up being excellent.

Yeah, I can get behind thinking Zendaya is a mediocre actor, but people acting like she's legit hideous is pretty wild. It's all subjective but some people make it seem like she's worse than our girl Shelly.

She wasn't as prominent in the books. Now that it's been awhile since I went and watched this I think I prefer the first one to this one though I think both are excellent. Just something about Dune has me caring more about world building than any particular event.

Yeah, XMen comics were my jam from the mid 80s until the mid 90s when the comic industry went to shit. Even with Batman being a better show I did enjoy the first couple of seasons of Xmen before losing track having joined the military in 93. All that said, I am unlikely to ever watch this shit.

I actually enjoyed the opening scenes in Phantom Menace. It went to shit very quickly when the Jedi went down to Naboo.
