ah yeah that is a good point. i was just thinking about it being mostly inconsequential for kunark (trak teeth aren't as much of a bottle neck as a lot of key quest pieces in later expansions), but velious and later it does become a lot more of an issue.

but if the shortened spawn timers are in kunark as well, then what's the big deal if your competition bridges the gear gap? just for server first kills on day one of the expansion launch?

if the server had classic timers and straight FFA then TFO would only be getting one of each a week anyway

low res cutscenes like that maybe looked better on older televsions vs. modern high-res displays. old TVs sort of had a natural blurring effect that smoothed out all those jagged pixel lines.
