well, one thing, though -- i kind of like having a low population server. if this is going to be bad for LJ server population, then its good for me in a selfish sense. i also don't like total ghost towns, but prefer low population over the overpopulated shitfest that Ragefire appears to be.

they've also talked about doing a time-locked Planes of Power server. i do really enjoy two boxing, but a single-box only PoP locked server could be pretty interesting.

say we have a sample size of 100 players. one player kills each of ther other 99 twice. those 99 each kill him once. that gives us one guy witha 2 KDR, and 99 guys with a .5 KDR. (2 + 99x.5) / 100 = 0.515 average KDR

i've had really good luck on 99 cent pulls. like three or four 5* items so far just from 99 cent pulls. was drunk last night when the sephiroth event started, did a 99 cent pull, BAM One Winged Angel right away. i think my neighbors probably heard me yell "WHOO!"

even with the crappier conversion rate, tho, its still probably better to spend mythril instead of real life money =p
