out of boredom during this downtime, i decided to take a peek at what's going on over on the old TLP server, Vulak A'err. made a level 1 character. first thing i did was type "/who all". there are currently 17 people online on vulak. just random fyi.

finally got some free time, and fortunately at the same time some extra cash. now i'm two boxing. my paladin Madriax and my druid Rivea. starting an empire tbph.

five 5*s from a single 11 pull is pretty lucky.

Legacy of Froststone definitely gets an endorsement from me. i've been working on this beta a bit. arcana and crew are still working on classic-ifying the database, but changes come quick and arcana spends the majority of his freetime working on this server. needs more eyes to catch...

its crazy how psychedelic those images are. i'd even go so far as to say that those feedback loops they're making are decent models of what is going on inside the human brain while on psychedelics. craziness

i ended up doing the new event just so i could level Garnet and Vivi in Festival of Gold before it closes up. and my luck keeps rolling -- got a Buster Sword this morning. counting the Zantetsuken from yesterday's daily bonus, that is four 5* weapons i pulled this week. crazy.

right after getting that Zantetsuken, i did a single pull and got a Hawk Eye. in the last few days i've gotten so much more powerful. feels awesome. i have 4 straight 5* weapons now, and a few that were upgraded to 5*.

must be our lucky day, i got the Healing Grimoire today myself. makes Tyro's limit break heal the whole party. i made him my roaming warrior. friend code: 9U4B

jives really well with simulation theory (the idea that the universe is a computer). why bother wasting computing resources on calculating the positions of every individual particle if none of the consciousnesses in the simulation are actually looking at 'em?

i'm pretty into this Locke event. unlocked Locke and fed him all of my EXP eggs, now i'm doing the Elite versions with Cyan, Celes, Terra, and Locke all in my party for the VI bonus. tearing the hell up, its fun.

Karana is superior for role-play purposes tbph. otherwise it doesn't really matter. got my truck on the road again. too exhausted to log in and play. going out of town tomorrow. won't be in game til sunday night.

paladins are great for dungeon crawling since they're decent at pulling and CCing. sure, you don't need good pulls or CC if you have four mages in your group, but with the new expanded instancing after today's downtime you might be able to get some dungeon space mostly to yourself, away from...

if you want to play a warrior, you better really love the class. they really won't be relevant for like a year. paladins have enough in their toolbox that they are useful now, though, imo. gukta is completely gone, i ran a newb ogre over there to check it out. freeport is new version...

has anyone found a vendor selling Instrument of Nife scrolls? out-of-era, but if its in-game it makes paladins super OP against undead. adds a 270-ish HP undead DD proc to their melee. quoted for truth. though, with only 32k HP on Kunark raid mobs, you don't really need Defensive discipline...

but soothe keeps utility later on in some situations because it has a way longer duration than calm or pacify

lenna event is nice since you can pic what rewards you want, but vanille event seems to give stuff quicker. vanille might slow down tho, haven't looked at the curve too closely.

Anima was the last thing i fought on Hard. not sure if he's the last on Heroic.

was pretty rough for me to make it through the event on Hard, my team is around level 40. Heroic must be nuts.
