I personally just think they went too far in the difficulty direction to appease too few people. Things can still be difficult without being ball crushingly hard.

Yep, and the differing difficulties creates that environment. I was always the type to endlessly push for us to beat all the hardmode shit, but then you have half the fucking guild going, WHATS THE FUCKING POINT? Then you realize you either need to find another guild or quit the game. Guess...

What I'd like to see them do is bring TBC in but not flying mounts. Figure out alternate ways for people to get to places you needed it for. (flight paths/portals)

I think people playing live will be too intrigued by the masses of people moving to classic when it goes live, hell what major streamers are even actively playing BFA at this point? People will want to be a part of that excitement. Classic is going to at least start out as a huge hit and BFA...

Too much money on the table for them not to do this, but I think it's too early to announce something like that. Wait until people get their fill of classic then BOOM big news keeps you hooked.

Flying mounts ruined wow, who cares how good legion was. Actually though, I think expanding the world and levels each expansion was a mistake. They should have kept the original overworld zones and put all the effort of creating 10 levels of leveling zones that are useless a week after launch...

Depends what your goals in classic are though, making money for a while isn't going to be that easy. HWL grind? Good luck playing both games. Herding 40 people together, getting them attuned for Ony and MC, that shit takes time. The raids themselves aren't hard until later on in AQ40 but...

Pve servers are pointless for the Classic experience, the entire point of playing the game with flying mounts removed is the fun it'll be getting to raids/dungeons/world bosses.
