    Everquest - Live Servers

I don't know much about rogues and what they can offer utility/dps/adps wise. Right now my group is war/brd/ber/sha/bst/rng. What do you think would be best to replace with a Rogue?

Star Citizen Online - The search for more money

rofl. This is like an america's funniest home videos where a guy is pitching balls to a small boy with a plastic bat. You know the hit to the nuts is coming, it does and it's funny. And then a hawk swoops down out of no where and grabs the guy's toupee. In the mean time, I'll take a...

    Everquest - Live Servers

EQ devs are so underfunded that I wouldn't want them to even try that. There are a few things they can do to improve boxing without specifically making tools for it though. Ex: improving /follow and improving the way abilities / discs / socials fire.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War (Shadow of Mordor Sequel)

fucking morons, lol. Nobody bought that shit. But huge numbers of people didn't buy the game because of the real cash fuckery and they aren't buying it now. If they want to do MTX, they need to go MTX free, virtue signal about being MTX free, build up a community for the game, and then add MTX...

RIP. Besides the operator ignoring the autopilot warnings, I wonder what caused the autopilot failure in the first place.

VR Gaming - Oculus Rift, Playstation VR, HTC Vive

I enjoyed skyrim with a vorpx when the Rift came out, but I thought the textures were too low res and the melee combat was too uhh, up close. I can definitely seeing Skyrim VR being an absolute dream for an archery and magic character though.

The Paranormal, UFO's, and Mysteries of the Unknown

What, in your opinion, is the most impressive example of these ancient structures that would necessitate a power greater than ancient humans to manage? Would you say it's carving out these blocks, transporting them, raising them or setting them?

I'm kind of disappointed that it doesn't seem like he's done much more in the last ten years. I was hoping that he'd remake stonehenge, complete with bridged concrete blocks on top of the upright ones.

    The Astronomy Thread

I think for a long time the value in Starlink will be giving access to fast internet to rural areas, not delivering better internet to urban or suburban areas. The big downside to LEO is that the satellites will have their orbits and mechanical parts degrade due to atmospheric drag. So it's...

The Paranormal, UFO's, and Mysteries of the Unknown

I dunno. I feel like growing up anytime I learned about space stuff whether it was from a book, movie, being at a science-type museum, whatever, everyone tries to impress the audience with saying how big space is. It's like, Calc I first lecture, "Newton invented this shit offhand to answer...

Oh and to speak against what I just said: last year I started getting a swelling feeling in my left knee when I ran/walked too much. I couldn't talk my doctor into getting PT for it because he's a toolbag, but when I tried that limber 11 program I discovered I got a lot of pain/pleasure from...

I also think that Musk has endeared so much public approval for pushing the envelope, moving quickly and also creating a path toward more affordable space travel that deaths are a tolerable cost of progress. Previous to SpaceX we'd have these monolithic space launches (like NASA wants to do...

Elon Musk’s Boring Co. chosen as final two in Chicago-O’Hare tunnel project bid I feel like direct tunnels between O'Hare and Chicago's downtown are perfect for the Boring Company if they can pull off the central technology of being able to quickly and cheaply bore holes, and are much more...
