This game is intriguing. Looks like a janky BotW meets Witcher with extra exploration and less story. Assuming a few patches will smooth out bugs and controls and I’ll dive in. I’m too addicted to Arc Raiders right now anyways to try and take on a massive single player open world rpg.

If exploration is fun and a key high point of the game, I might give it a shot. Why do the bushes and trees always look like it’s a hurricane though? That’s got to be distracting with them blowing all directions like crazy all the time.

One big UI problem example is some items have the exact same icon and symbols but when you mouse over them the pop text explains very different things they do or different stats. Is that how it is in Arc Raiders too, and that’s why you don’t think the UI is that bad?

Do shells ever level up and get better/new abilities or increased stats? I’ve yet to find any shells specific loot, but I’d assume that’s how your character evolves and until then you can play any shell that fits your playstyle interchangeably?

FF12 is so good. One of my favorite FFs ever only behind 3(6) on the snes and maybe the original ff7. Currently loving Tainted Grail and it’s an eating up all my playtime.

Unlooted corpse indicators would be nice. Any corpse that doesn’t fall dead right at your feet can be very difficult to find. I don’t think it will happen though. The game went with minimalistic/nonexistent assistance indicators, which overall I really like.

It only works out of combat, unless the spell is on your spell bar and then you can use the command whenever. It’s intended for buff spells but no idea if it works for offensive spells initially until it puts you into combat on whatever mob you cast it at.

Temporary debuffs instead of outright dispelling all your buffs is an amazing change. Couple that with the ability to cast non-memmed spells, and buffing/staying buffed is easier than ever!
