    401K loans? good option?

I'd just like to add that if you can't pay the loan in full if you get terminated it's not just the 10% IRS penalty you'll pay. Those funds also become taxable. As someone that also has his 6, I would tell you to get the higher interest loan. The cost difference between a 6% and an 11% loan...

Credit Card Processing in a Small Business

My advice was directed more at Lyrical. 23 cents a transaction doesn't mean anything if you're getting a lower rate on large transactions. For a grocery store, a per transaction fee is a big deal. However for someone that processes much larger transactions, the percentage is what matters. My...

Credit Card Processing in a Small Business

Square with a larger transaction volume is a waste of money. Araysar is right. Go to your bank first and see what they can offer. Full disclosure I work for Chase bank. We own our merchant processor and because of this, we do next day funding of your payments if you also bank with us. If...

    Cats

Seconded! The only thing that sucks about them is occasionally (I've had mine 2 years and had this issue 3-4 times) something stops working in it and you have to take it apart and clean it. It's the most disgusting thing ever.

    Home buying thread

I live in Las Vegas, and it took me a long time to find a house that was 1700 sq ft on a 7500 sq ft lot. Many of them were 1700 on a 3-4000 lot. I know here, it's because they build quite a few homes very quickly, so they jammed them in as much as possible so the builder could make the most...

Adventures with Corndog: Corndog's Fish Store

Depending on sales, you should consider going with another merchant processor. 2.75% isn't bad, but you can do better as your volume increases.

    Where's my fucking snuggie

New York pizza is disgusting. It's greasy, it doesn't hold up. How about you finish cooking it and actually let the crust get crispy.

It may be worth it to hire a payroll service like ADP. It's expensive for what they do, but they will calculate taxes for you and if it gets screwed up, they pay IRS penalties. They can also handle your quarterly tax payments too for the business.

    Survivor 26: Caramoan

If I remember correctly, Brenda tried to blindside her main alliance person and he got wind of it and took her out instead. That's why she didn't scramble when it was her turn to go. They didn't show it on the show, but talked about it in the reunion.

Yes, 100% yes. She's been very vocal this season. I wonder if she's always been this way and they just started cutting it for the show.

Their rates jump alot as your loan size gets smaller. If you have a 300-400k loan, the rates are good. If you have a 100k loan, not so much.
