Has anyone read up on pathfinder quest? The crowdfund is still opt in, and I really love warhammer quest style games.
I kind of want to put in for it to play with the family? Any strong opinions on it?
on Shards of Dalaya (the almost abandoned old one), people made alt clusters for each of the level locked bosses, then /locked the account (where you couldn't trade their items or accept new items or whatever else). and parked them at each of the level locked names (adepts).

i also would love sharp divides in stats. an ogre should completely outclass a gnome at being a warrior. naturally that divide is temporary. itemization shores up stat splits and become irrelevant.
I presume they did this because they didn't want to make gnome warrior a 'bad choice'. or even...
they had me interested in the ol new world with the concept. hit that offramp when they said open world pvp. this was before i was pre-worried about games being written stupid like modern games.
and on the ratman front. i would think they want to add it, and many things, but they have a schedule of work t hey intend to do on their road map. so i bet rat man will be a thing, but after all the races on the site.
i'm actually annoyed chat fades so fast, or at all in the case of my tell window. i want to see every tell with no fade ever, but it fades. maybe it's a setting i can fix. i'd rather it stay and i can /clearchat the chat when i need.
i haven't tried in the alpha to find a party yet, but i did okay on the public test. i've heard that some of the alpha guys are trying a content-lock-down hustle amongst their guild/group whatever. but i haven't had much experience with all that.
if they proliferated fetching players to everyone, i imagine they'd make it a tradeskill instead of a class themed thing, reinvented 16 times. "summoning" or something like that. they already mean to have 'wagoneering' to have a wagon to haul your loot. they also made it where you can't gate...
