Vick would not survive in Arizona. Thier offensive line is the worst in the league by something like 20 orders of magnitude. It's fucking terrible and that guy is made of candy glass.
Perrin definitely turns it around in the Sanderson books. Unfortunately the Mat stuff in the early parts of the Sanderson stuff was pretty awful, but that too gets better later on. Really looking forward to wrapping this thing up.
I'm sure you've heard this a million times by now, but you're really missing out. The books are significantly better than the show, which is quite good in and of itself.
Jeff George also had a 4000 yard passing season. So have some other amazing guys like Majkowski, Scott Mitchell, Neil Lomax, Elvis Grbac, and John Kitna even has 2 or 3 of them.
So we should be happy we got kicked in the balls instead of stabbed in the gut with a sharpened toothbrush? Being better than AIDs doesn't make it good.
Tannehill's biggest issue is that the dumbasses that run the Dolphins traded Marshall for some random ass picks and their receiving core is mediocre at best. Weeden has many issues, not the least of which is that he's actually older than Rodgers?!?!?!?
To the extent of schemes and such it's true to some degree. Throwing lots of short passes is going to give you a higher percentage than if you're going bombs away obviously. But if they can't hit the broad side of a barn then there's a limit to it.
The normal NFL contracts are not. However a number of players get some guaranteed money put into to contract when they negotiate them. It's not there by default like other sports.
