Yep. Much, much, much better organization for PE and Hex KS. Well the good newsis since they are only going to get 800ish k, they will have to come back to kickstarter (well maybe) and KS 2.0 will hopefully be much better organized.

I think Brad got it - I hammered at this issue for a while - he has said they are looking for a CEO to replace the chair ;-) I assume that like the game itself, the CEO is going to depend on the kickstarter. Hard to get someone to run the company if there isn't one.

yeah, there actually is a place for some procedurally generated content in an EQ world and water is a good place for it. Sail around and find some literally uncharted isle with a panda pirate on it, that you'll never be able to find again.

I'll add that it makes the reward more rewarding. Who wants a ribbon that someone hands you for "being a good guy"? No one, you throw that out immediately. But getting a little trophy for placing 1st or 2nd in a race against a bunch of other people, well that trophy goes on your shelf.
