If you have Comcast in the area there is absolutely no reason to go with DSL ever, unless price is a major selling point for you. Comcast gets a lot of shit, but in most areas their internet is fast and reliable, you just pay out the ass for it. That said, Fiber is the way of the future...

Oh... DSL.. yikes. I haven't had a Comcast outage in the 4 years that I've had them (personally, not my parents). I also get around 10-12MB/s (80-100Mbps) down on a good day. I like everything about them except their shitty customer service and retarded fees.

If you're pulling them from speedtest.net then it's in Megabits, which is fairly slow. You're not getting what is advertised, but I don't believe Comcast makes the claim that you ever will.

They're really NSFL. I'm pretty immune to dead bodies, but there's something heart-wrenching about seeing them with a plane crash. I always assumed bodies were vaporized in these types of accidents.
