AD yi has always been able to do that late game if you let him get his farm. I've played with/against 3 or 4 yi's since the patch and haven't seen anything screaming nerf.

On the armor seals vs mana regen seals, I don't run in to ad mids too often. I can see a pantheon or maybe a zed (not sure what other ad chars go mid, I almost never see it personally) giving me some problems early but I could always bump the priority on the chain vest up the item ladder.

To be fair, a lot of it depends on team comp and they happened to have a nice 4man team. Also, they didn't have a trist who went 0/7 in 10 minutes and THEN quit, which also makes it easier than other times.
