I think they said they added flat attack speed to mobs as difficulty went up. So if baseline attack speed is 160% in D4 then the 60%/160% slow would reduce attack speed by 37.5%

The star wars mod was basically just a re-skin back when I tried it 6 months(?) ago. All of the quests seemed to be the same general story just themed to the new setting.

Double pure melee is just going to be shit in every case; you're just getting a marginal benefit of an extra attack skill and almost never any real synergy compared to a class with a mana bar.

Druid is literally always hot garbage in every iteration of the game. I don't understand why it can't be improved. The druid/ranger motif in EQ is my favorite class fantasy.

Mitigation is too opaque - changing the actual magnitude of the spell & requiring a higher level spell (more mana) for higher level enemies is cleaner.

Slow should be limited to 10% and ranks should change the level limit of NPCs it lands on instead.

I don't see any reason to play this on release. Balance is still ass. There's no real content and new stuff is half a year away. Wait for the shit to settle and make a decision closer to Kunark.

A +10 weapon simply has 2x the base DMG. A 30/40 base weapon with a 0.75 ratio will be 60/40 1.5 ratio at +10. There is no hidden formula that isn't known.

I think the multiple difficulty levels is going to be the biggest mistake with the game. Unless the game mechanics / itemization support better gear translating to better output in a much more robust manner all you end up doing is either tilting the game away from being soloable to benefit...

Would suggest farming hate for Bard plate immediately, the scorn banshee are mostly all static solo fight spots in the southwest that you can kill without much gear. Rubi BP is decent to keep in an any slot for the regen and ac though.
