5 tiers of raiding is not true, you're maybe doing 2-3 because either that's all you can do or because getting a +0 drop when you can also farm +4 is nearly worthless. It's like getting 1/16 of the item - a waste of your time.

Raid-balanced instances are not yet in the game, the current solo instances at diff 4 (vox/nag only) are taking people 20-30 minutes to kill - and I don't think I've seen anyone do it without CLR in their set.

Hole version is ass with 50% rock golem spawns that feel like 20k hp, leveling you're typically fighting +5 mobs or so that give ~5% xp per kill if you're in a dungeon

There is a chasm of difference between solo players being able to be on the frontier of getting top items and killing the hardest bosses (THJ) vs solo players plodding along weeks/months behind organized groups killing bosses several tiers below those groups and taking multiples of time to do so...

I don't agree, 8-groups are going to devour zones while you're trying to single pull Fear.

They way the game is set up right now encourages sitting in as big of a group as you can to make it easier and because your rewards are not split with others. I think this is unfortunate for solo players, they will be well behind organized groups.

I got up into the 30s by about a day in after a random guy gave me some raid weapons. I'd say it's completely mogged by THJ. It's plays like you're 3-boxing on one character in a TLP, fairly unambitious compared to a garage box.

I don't like the level of customization this allows. It seems to remove any semblance of having gearing trade-offs, now you just add all of the best effects to the highest stat armor/weapon.
