Vanguard was overscoped but how many people actually played it after the initial shitfest? It's a really good game as long as you are playing with others. Graphics are still decent today, gameplay is solid, and the classes are great. I also love the exploration, the minor dungeons everywhere...

By squat machine do you mean the Smith Machine? If so I would avoid that and just do BW squats, you can throw small weights in your hands (dumbbells) and work on that. Smith Machine forces you into a weird position and I've always found it terrible for squats.
