My Asus laptop has had a myriad of problems with various components, but I've been able to fix everything pretty easily. If it wasn't able to play games so well I'd probably hate the company. I wish they would spend a little more money on QA though.

StoiCynic the best and most innovative thing about both FFXI and FFXIV is the class system. Being able to switch jobs on the fly so you only need one character is the single greatest ideology a gaming company has come up with for MMOs. Truly surprised other companies don't use this.

In theory they work, in practice I'd be impressed if they actually worked for what the OP wanted. You need a good line of sight, low interference, and great conditions. If all you're looking to do is share files it's way easier to make a free dropbox account that only you two have access to.
