Watching Clevatess today, and I realized why I like it so much: Nostalgia. It just has an old school vibe to it, like Fist of the North Star... just higher quality animation/art. The sound effects when Alicia smacked all the bugs really hit me, it was great.

I have to agree that this season has been great. Each series I'm watching now has been getting better and better.

A modified Orca can almost complete all the races, I just need to cut some corners better. Nell is still a bit wonky on applying her mark, especially on Wall Crasher, other that she is great. If it weren't for how buggy this patch has been it would have been better received.

I get some really chunky frames at times, so I'll try tweak it a bit. I'm thinking I should cap frames at 60 vs. having it at 240 (my monitor is 240hz).

I agree somewhat in that "Anime" is an art style (with lots of variation) and very rarely is it realistically drawn, so I think people have been conditioned to accept that anime characters are as they are presented in the story even if they look nothing like their real life counterparts.

I was all set to give up on Clev if a certain thing didn't happen, but it did, so I'm in a good place now.
