I played every EQ Emu out there but I've been checking out real EQ recently and having fun with it. Some stuff I don't like, the nerf to trains makes it harder to PL, the pay to win aspect, etc. But mostly I'm having fun. The thing that blows my mind about this game is that if you don't care...

Seems like EQ is still alive but they don't know what to do with it, don't even understand why some people play emus, would like to make their own but are fumbling to find the right rules. And the players don't have a consensus on what they prefer. Some people prefer P99 which is locked in time...

An emu with these rules: The solo and group content server: 1) ROF2 client 2) Anything up to 4 box 3) No MQ2 except the toon following and a few other qol ones 4) Very limited raid content. Naggy is not there, but FG's are. Hate and Fear are full of mobs but no nameds, no golems, no cazic...

I voted no. I think only millennials who have never seen a television would sit through the painfully crappy dialogue in video games. But this poll could teach me otherwise. p.s. I mean single player and mmo.

Cuz EQ EMU is pretty half assed.

Early Rift was awesome, then it became a dumbed down piece of shit. GW2 was as well. I remember playing GW2 in an early beta and it was hard as hell. Just fighting 1 mob was life and death, had to cast a spell then dive out the way and cast again. Repeat while diving and only the stronger...
