Planetside 2 does it flawlessly, btw. Three continents to zone between, but as far as I know, I've never hit a hitch moving across a map. I'm sort of a tech newb, so, am I just not seeing the zones or totally oblivious to the hitches?

True, launch was rough. I'm currently running VG on SSDx2 in raid0, so I hardly notice load times, but there is still the slight hitch when crossing a chunk. So.... Aradune, please get it right this time.

Definitely have a limited load. Also, if you're going to have stat modifiers on gear, it allows players to build with gear and skills. For example, "+fire damage on gear" for a wizard class, who them 'loads up' spells that do Fire Damage, and dropping Arcane or Water spells.

Yah, see that's a tough angle. On one hand, allowing pooling of pledges/donations for organized groups for specific rewards / benefits is a good way to both increase the donations and get an idea of what tools and benefits those groups want. On the other hand, once real currency gets tangled...

Going to jump on the back of this. If you give me Dev updates with video of where you're at, and make it easier to follow, I'll continue to make contributions. I think tracking donations over time beyond the initial Kickstart date is an incredibly good idea. I'll be able (and likely willing)...

I could get behind a single server system. I guess it depends on player population (especially at launch, since no game really handles the load at launch well), because as much as I dislike the "oh hey, what server are you playing on", I dislike the threat of lag more.
