Amen to that. Could be you"re using the wrong lead, I was using my old iPhone lead and it was always incredibly slow, so slow I googled it and the actual iPad lead for some reason runs much much faster, doesn"t surprise me that Apple might put shit like that in so people who"s leads break...

Don"t worry about the comics ruining the show, the show stayed true to the comics for about 1 episode I think. The comics are also much much better than the show, I know it"s the old books are always better than movies argument but in this case it really is true, things happen in the comics...

I can"t praise the iPad enough as a digital comic book reader, I"d tried different shit through the years like laptops (too bulky) psp (small screen and poor interface) plus various phones etc and it blows everything out the water, it"s exactly the right size and the comic zeal app is awesome...
