It"s in the first post, fairy in the leaves pic. She could actually beat Brooke and Ashlee, their pictures are terrible. And well, Beau - jesus, how can you lose to a guy named Beau?

    Most memorable comic book moments

The Omega Sanction was used in the past year or so to great effect in the Mr. Miracle limited series that was part of Seven Soldiers and served as a lead in to Final Crisis. I suspect it was used if for no other reason than to remind people of it so they knew what it was when Batman got zapped...

    Most memorable comic book moments

I"m pretty sure that"s Mark Bagley, he drew Ultimate Spider Man for 100+ issues, and is now signed to DC. He"s a huge fan favorite, and I guess is one of the more reliable artists around. His art lacks detail, but if you check out USM, he does some excellent work. That"s basically how Logan...

    Most memorable comic book moments

It"s a pretty irritating trend. On the upside, there are times when we see guys like Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch sign up for 12 issues of Fantastic Four, and then extend to 16. Also, look at Bendis and Bagley on Ultimate Spider-man for what, 100+ issues?

Issue later, Xavier inquires why Fury owes him a favor, but Wolverine declines to answer. Fury knew all too well that one mutant who simply wound up with a bum power wasn"t reason to throw them all in internment camps.

Here"s the issue in question. Kid wakes up, where"d everyone goes? He goes to school and kills everyone there, but doesn"t understand. Wolverine is sent to find out why 265 or so people are dead and tracks him to a cave. Spans a couple posts.

Gimme 15 minutes, I"ll put it up for you. Braen: That was in Ultimate X-men, the kid"s power was to dissolve organic material; he disintegrates people. I think it was Nick Fury who sent Wolverine tho. I have the issue somewhere, I"ll toss up some scans. It was a great issue for sure.

    Most memorable comic book moments

That"s All-star Batman and Robin by Frank Miller and Jim Lee. I think that"s about 4-5 issues in; it"s a super erratic schedule for that book. All of them are worth checking out, it"s one arc by those guys.

    Most memorable comic book moments

Alright, this is going to be a wall of motherfucking text, but if you make it through the whole thing, it"s pretty rewarding. Basically...right after Watchmen, Alan Moore wrote up a proposal for a series of comics set in the DCU that told the story of the end of the DCU as we know it. Of course...

Someone else posted the return of Colossus in Astonishing X-men, and his reunion with Kitty. One of my favourite pages in the current run is Peter admitting his comic timing is lacking.

Avengers Vol. 3, issue 14. Ultron creates an army of duplicates of himself, and essentially murders an entire eastern European nation. He kidnaps anyone his thought processes were based on in an attempt to recreate the world using his "mind" and theirs after scouring the planet of biological...

Planetary, Issue 23. What if the Fantastic Four went into space because Reed Richards KNEW they"d wind up with super powers, and then came back to earth and controlled the advancement of mankind? What if they killed Superman the minute his ship landed on earth? Assassinated Wonder Woman the...

    Most memorable comic book moments

Ultimates Vol. 1, issue 12 - Captain America faces off against an alien who he"d last seen working for the Nazis. The aliens have decided to destroy the entire solar system rather than leave it for Galactus, who I don"t think had been mentioned yet in the Ultimate universe prior to this. Cap...

    Most memorable comic book moments

Goddamn, spent the rest of the day driving around thinking in the back of my head about recent great moments. I stopped collecting for years, but recently got back into it. I discovered Green Lantern and went back through all the issues starting with Kyle Rayner as the new GL. Of course, they...

    Most memorable comic book moments

I can"t believe no one posted this. Quick rundown. The world is on the brink of nuclear war and someone is killing superheroes. Nite Owl and Rorshach finally realize it"s Ozymandias who is behind it all, and the finale is to teleport a cloned psychic"s body altered into a giant alien looking...

    Crazy Neighbor Need Advice

Had a neighbour complain about my noise making in the last building I lived at. LL looked into it a few times. Good thing for me I wasn"t actually home either time, and nothing was on in the apartment. He used the word crazy in regard to them a few times, so I didn"t have to. We live on the...
