I can't imagine the games today will be able to match any of the excitement of yesterday's.

Anyway, Disp, I'm guessing you're probably thinking that $600 was totally worth it. I didn't expect that game AT ALL.
Yeah my friend and I had a great time and the seats were amazing. Between tickets/parking/beer/liquor we spent about $400 each, but it was both of our first playoff games and definitely worth it. The parking situation at Candlestick is a fucking joke. We were literally not moving for an hour and a half trying to get out, and it took us 3 hours just to get to the highway (about 1 mile away) from the stadium. The game ended at 8 or 9 and we live an hour and a half away from SF, but I didn't get home until 1:30 because of the traffic. New stadium can't get here soon enough.

There is nothing better than Niner fans crazy delusions about Kaeperbro. I cannot wait to see him shit the bed.

Come on now...he may very well go on to have a poor game, but there's no denying his performance last night. Especially after an early pick 6.

That's what impressed me so much. His "0 fucks given" attitude when making a silly mistake like that early, trying to do too much. Alex Smith had a game like that against the Giants and they absolutely crushed him, because his confidence is fucking horrible.

I'm not willing to call Kaeperbro the second coming of Michael Vick(when he didn't suck and was the most dynamic player in the league)or even the next RG3. However, the dude obviously has an insanely high ceiling that he can hopefully reach in the coming years. The one area of his game I'd like to see him work on is "floating" the ball a little better in the flat and short routes. He tries to throw it 90 MPH every single throw and a lot of throws that just isn't necessary.

I won't deny he was great running the ball against a piss poor GB defense, he didn't look so great against the Rams. His big skill is running the ball, Steve Young he is not, sooner or later he'll get injured like every other dude that runs the ball (RB or QB) and then what.

I agree that he has looked weak at times and he is definitely an "option" style QB, which doesn't last long in the NFL(defenses catch on, injuries catch up to you, etc.), but he does have a fairly decent arm. He's no Aaron Rodgers, but he's not exactly Tim Tebow either.

Have you seen where the new stadium is at? It is being built right across from where I work, I can actually see the stadium from my window. I can't even fathom how they are going to handle parking there and getting people in and out in an effective way. The 237 freeway right there is a tiny 3 lane freeway, and getting onto it from there sucks during rush hour, so after a game I imagine it will be just as bad. I actually am not even sure where the parking is going to be as I haven't drove by there yet, but I am guessing they have it figured out in some way. It's really too bad that BART doesn't go all the way down there. That would definitely help.

Look, Kaep was especially suited to hurt the Packers - just consider the issues they had with Ponder, for fuck's sake. Their big guys up front of D could not hold up against SF's (admittedly quite good) OLine, and the CBs picked a bad week to shit the bed.

1) I don't expect Kaep to hurt the rest of the playoff teams as badly, but can still do more than enough to win against any of them (see the Patriots game).
2) GB's defensive issues seem to be more bad draft picks than scheme, but durability is the hardest thing to predict at the professional level. GB did draft Jerel Worthy up front, after all, he just wasn't on the field for most of the season.
