Sorry, but have to disagree with you there. Most people were saying Ryan was a terrible coach and that the Jets would be absolutely terrible this year. There were even people in this thread thinking they'd go 0-16.

Also the foot fetish thing happened when the Jets were really good, pretty sure they made the AFC championship that year

That sounds about right. Kind of surprising since the NFC was supposed to dwarf the AFC so badly this year. Even shoe-in bad (preseason) AFC teams are handling shoe-in (preseason) NFC playoff teams.
