They were playing the Deadskins bro.
And Cutler mustered a 8.3 rating against them before getting injured. 3-8, 28 yds, 1 int and a sack for 6 yards

I dont know, makes me worried that we are going to get locked in into a 5 year contract extension with Cutler next year and he will regress rather than get better.

It really sucks to have a stacked offense and finally a decent O-line like the Bears do and not drop 30+ on the opponents every game.

That's what it took to sour you on Cutler? Mind blown.
Dude, Araysar has been a battered wife for a long time. It took him several years until finally one of his friends introduced him to a handsome new guy named Josh McCown who treated him like a lady and fucked him right. He's finally able to take a step back and realize he's been in an abusive relationship with Cutler for years. We should applaud him for taking the first step, not criticize. His eyes are finally open.

Unless you watch the Bears regularly then it's easy to just say Cutler wasn't good and there were certainly games he wasn't. With that said aside from the 1st half of this past week he was looking pretty studly now that he had an actual coach who knew what a real offense looked like, think we're 2nd behind the Broncos in most offensive numbers while our defense is now 28th with a DVOA of 23 or some equally bad shit.

Every Bears season goes like this, though. They pound up a few low end teams and people start talking about playoffs. Then they hit the meat of the schedule and people wonder how the coach or QB will survive the season without getting fired or killed. It just happened a little sooner this season, with Detroit deciding to show up for a change.

And as for Cutler, he is in what we Packer fans refer to as the Wayne Fonts / Denny Green zone. He always does _just_ good enough to keep his job, but never good enough to seal the deal for the team, usually failing in spectacular fashion when the chips are down. Lovey is arguably the best coach the Bears have had since Ditka and Cutler managed to get him fired, for fucks sake. Lovey could actually beat the Packers in Lambeau (unlike Cutler). Needless to say, I was elated when they decided to dump Lovey Smith and keep Cutler's gutless ass. Shame for Bears fans, too, because the Bears have a descent amount of talent on offense and as much as they are our rivals, it is a respectable and honorable rivalry (unlike the clusterfuck Vikings or undisciplined Lions) that deep down I would like to see be closer than it is right now.

You're premise is pretty retarded. We won all those games initially against the Pack b/c we did have a decent O-Line so having Grossman wasn't that huge of a negative. By the time Cutler came around the line was utter shit and Lovie was fine with that since all the money was going to the defense. This league is almost glorified flag football now, keeping a defensive coach just limits your ability to adjust to that new reality.

So Jay Ratliff who was so injured he couldn't play for the Cowboys now suddenly is healthy and looking for another team, thank you Jay Ratliff for giving Jerry back all his money he paid you and the salary cap space that is going to be cleared up when his contract is found null and void due to him committing fraud.

It's especially funny that people are claiming that Jerry paid Ratliff to do this to get back cap space.

John Mara will turn his poodles at the league office on you guys' salary cap again in a heartbeat, Jerrah better be able to prove his innocence! He's probably a little butthurt about how his attempted kneecapping turned out. We won the division last year and it's looking like Dallas will this year. Meanwhile his big blue dumpster fire continues to fail to use the advantage he got them.

My favorite part of the Giants collapse this year comes from getting to hear the media and Giants fans all make excuses for Eli that weren't valid excuses for Romo suddenly become valid.

Romo just won two Super Bowl rings?
WR's running the wrong route, WR's dropping the ball, offensive line sucks, no running game, piss poor defense. We are always told elite QB's make their team better and drag them to playoffs and win anyways. Now the same excuses are being applied to Eli, only difference is his team is 1-6 and and Romo managed to drag his team to mediocrity. Eli sucks and always has, herp derped his way to 2 SB's behind a defense that was nasty on opposing QB's.

I respected the Giants, and especially Tom Coughlin, for their success on the field. Causing the infamous 18-1, etc. Then their little weasel of an owner decided to try and take out his division rivals withsalary cap penalties...total bitch moves. And on top of that, Dallas and Washington were penalized because they were the only two clubs that did not participate in the blatant collusion against the players in the so-called uncapped year.

Just weak as fuck...glad to see them out there playing Jacksonville tier football.

Sexy Rexy is still around. Send him back to Chicago to lead the Bears to another super bowl.
