It sounds like that is what they offered Geno as well, and he declined it.

good pickup I would think, kinda thought he was on his way back to the packers(so did the odd makers)
Zero chance. Adams was locker room cancer from day one and one thing the Packers have mostly been good at is containing that bullshit. Adams is no longer worth the bullshit you go through having him.

You don't think the guy that kept Ramsey in line can handle him?

Let's revisit this after the season.

Maybe you misunderstood me, but I was talking about the Packers taking him back. No one in Wisconsin believes that was an option. Packer fans are thankful for the one early Ring we got in that timespan under McDoofus and AR, but I can say both personally and anecdotally that the post Rogers/Adams/McRib era is a lot more enjoyable. Seasons are a lot more interesting and fun, plus its fun being the underdog again. And honestly keeping a drama queen happy is easier in a bigger town without winter fucking up their mood, so I believe the Rams might be able to make him useful.

Our FA needs are going to be mostly defensive related. Rams needed a couple more weapons for Stafford to rely on. And Adams is a pain in the ass egotist, but he is reliable and relatively injury free if he has a QB who feeds him the ball, which I believe Stafford will. MLF relies on spreading things around, so having a ball hog drama queen would never work out for us. And I would not really want Adams bullying our young developing QB around when he does not get the targets he wants. Stafford is old enough that he won't take any of that shit. Love is still growing as a player.

How should I feel about this Chargers bros?

Probably a good economical fit for the Rams. Rams came the closest to anyone to knocking off the Eagles last post season, so they probably are going to just tweak a few things (that division is basically gift wrapped for them next year) and put off the rebuild until Stafford likely hangs it up (I predict two years). A little more on the Defensive side of things might be all they need to get them over the hump.

From the Chargers perspective, I think they are on a four year plan (Herberts likely make or break window) so they might be looking to upgrade with a splurge in that position. I personally would have preferred to the the Chargers tighten up the O Line a bit then get some receiving weapons, but JH did get them to the playoffs year one so one has to assume he knows what he is doing. And looking at the AFC it seems like KC is on a downward trajectory leaving the Bills as the likely big team to beat in the short term, unless Cinci gets its head out of its ass. I think that the Bolts can shave a bit on DLine if it means gains in secondary or OLine.

Honestly, both Fields and Darnold's deals seem like reasonable price tags for guys with mixed track records. If they bomb, they back up next year and are out the year after, if they are decent, they get another deal in a year and a half or so.

So what, the Steelers are pitting Russ and Aaron against each other, with the loser getting stuck with the Giants? I still think its possible Kirk stays in Atlanta as the backup.

This one makes me sad. I was really holding out hope the 49ers could hang onto him

It was really hard to say cause he only played part time for a couple games before having to come out. He obviously wasn't still fully recovered. But the energy he brought when he was on the field, was pretty amazing. Rumor is the 49ers basically had a 1 year prove it deal on the table, cause they wanted to make sure he was healthy.

What did you think of Jaylon Moore? He has amazing pff ranking and stats for a backup for Trent.
He was an amazing swing tackle, and then filled in great when Trent was out. Think it is a really solid pickup for the Chiefs. It was clear he was going to be priced out for the 49ers.

Yeah dumb ass haters on Twitter are saying that we’re stupid for for getting him but from everything I’ve seen and all of the 49er fans they think it’s a great pick up.

I mean, did those guys not watch the Super Bowl? lol
