They simply don't have the money to pay anyone, without completely killing anything for the future. With the signing of Luke Farrell I think it was basically a replacement for Juice.

It's brutal, but the reality of the NFL. Can't keep everyone.

I honestly hope they aren't trying to compare in anyway, but I also know that isn't how this works. Reality is he shouldn't hit $60m, and $55m should be the upper end for him. Rumors were the 49ers first offers started at $45m per year, which there is no chance would happen.

Sucks that it really feels like the window is fully gone. Part of me was trying to hang onto some bit of hope, but it's hard to see it now.

Have to figure $55m is the minimum since that is where Lawrence is at, offering $45m actually sounds insulting in Purdy's case

I'm worried about the Broncos. My Oregon bro Bo Nix is a legit competitor, Payton is a good HC, and people are underestimating Greenlaw's talent. I think they're going to surprise some folks this year.

TBH, I think they surprised some folks this past year. I really didn't think they'd have a winning record this year.
