Yeah. I looked at most of Colorado's games if not all of them. Sanders is...good. Like 7-15 good. He's accurate as fuck (literally the most accurate ever in college football), I'll give him that. He also can read a defense damn well from what I can tell.

Buuuuuuuut, dude can't throw deep. DC's will have a field day with this and press those receivers hard. Take away the underneath stuff, and then play cat/mouse all day baiting OC's to have him throw deeper than he's comfortable with.

Ward I know zero about outside scouting reports and highlights, which were meh.
Pretty good breakdown of him. Hits on some of the things you noted here.

Seems like a pretty solid deal for the Bills

When your #1 WR essentially is a $15M a year, never had more than 821 yards receiving in a season guy. They better hope Coleman turns into something, because they traded down twice only to watch Worthy, Pearsall, and Legette go before they took him. Then the Charges snagged McConkey right after they took Coleman, too.

15mil a year for a legit #2 is a good deal with how much the cap is going up. Other than McConkley, none of those guys looked good at all. Im sure the Bills will be drafting someone. Especially since Cooper did absolutely nothing for them somehow.

most likely carter will not be there for the patriots. i think he is going 1 or 2 max. pats need Oline WR and Dline- in my opinion oline more than any other position.
i do not want hunter. he is an OK WR and and Good DB...
imo Pats Pick- if he is there Cambell or Banks jr or Graham at 4 or trade down for draft capital

if Carter is there at 3 pats should try to trade up for him. they also have a potential trade bait with their backup QB milton III that looked good vs the bills for the last game of the season, granted the bills mostly played their backups, but he looked Good. worst to worst he will be the pats backup and brissett will be gone.

Hopefully the Patriot receivers they have on hand that are going into year 2 or 3 have matured (polk/baker had apparently maturity issues i heard) and become productive.

polk baker (2nd year) & boutte(3rd year) have potential, they just have to produce. boutte imo improved a lot as the season progressed last year and with a good OC on hand- for all that he sucks as a head coach, josh mcdaniels is an excellent OC.

they still need a pure #1 receiver though.

Bengals saying Chase will be the highest paid non QB.

Kinda wild, probably have 1/3 of their cap (for the next year, at least) in two players.

Honestly, probably worth it. Burrow and Chase are an absurd pair.

Kinda crazy that watching an excellent team dominate in the SB makes you want to go the Dan Marino route still. 9-8 in one of the toughest divisions in football and you want to double down...not shocking, but almost shocking.

Gotta figure Chase is at $40m+ at this point, Bengals had a shot at it before last season and blew it

I disagree slightly in that I think Worthy looked pretty decent at times for the Chiefs, just needs to find a more defined role in that offense. Also Pearsall got shot, so hard to really know, and Legette was on inconsistent Carolina.

Cooper did look like a shell of himself. They have to draft another guy on Day 1 or 2.

But there's also the 2020 Tampa Bay route. A bunch of teams have won the Super Bowl before this Eagles team. It doesn't HAVE to be that way. I mean the fucking Rams almost beat them in the playoffs.

Not sure this is the answer for the NFL but the current way it is handled is awful and needs changed.

Both the Rams and TB SB winning teams were loaded. Have you watched football before? Give me the SB winning team with a terrible D and just focused on the QB and a WR. I’ll wait.

It's not either-or. The Bengals also had the sack leader in the NFL this past season. Getting an edge rusher on the other side and a corner and it'll turn the defense around immensely. I think a big part of the defensive woes was Lou. Lou's defense relied way too much on turnovers which are so damn variable. Have an off year in that category and all you do is just give up TDs - which is what they did this year.

Chase is worth paying. It's pretty much a guaranteed TD a game and wrecks any defensive game plan. Bengals get a DE to play alongside Hendrickson and make some changes in the secondary and the defense can drastically improve. Hell, if the defense is just average, the Bengals are easily a 13 win team.
