I'm on record as saying I want the SEC to burn the CFP to the ground. This would be the fastest path to that outcome. And I think the CFP would rather leave Alabama out, than to leave an entire conference (ACC) out by not dropping Alabama past Miami and moving Miami ahead of ND.
Head to head is the only meaningful tie breaker in competition. If it doesn't matter, then nothing matters.I know Miami beat Notre dame, but I’m not sure it’s right to put them ahead of ND. Start of the season ND? Sure. But not anymore.
Let’s be real, those seeds are a joke and the committee is already illegitimate. Miami and ND in over Texas is a complete joke. Their SoS are both in the 40s. This isn’t about putting in the best teams, it is just rewarding the teams with the easiest schedules that managed to beat nobody with a pulse. The only team without a bye that the top 4 want to see less than Texas in round 2 is Oregon (except Georgia probably since Sark has a Kirby problem). The CFP is a complete joke. Nothing will change that. But if the final seedings aren't the following, then not only will they be a joke, they will be illegitimate.
1) Indiana
2) Georgia
3) Ohio St
4) Texas Tech
5) Oregan
6) Ole Miss
7) A&M
8) OU
9) Miami
10) ND
11) Tulane (Alabama ranked 11)
12) JMU (UT ranked 12)
1. Ban ND from the playoffs until they join the Big 10, 2. disband the ACC so the 2 mediocre programs can join a real conference and the rest can be castoff into the sea, and 3. ban G5 from the playoffs.I know Miami beat Notre dame, but I’m not sure it’s right to put them ahead of ND. Start of the season ND? Sure. But not anymore.
You lost to Florida. You have to run all of your posts byLet’s be real, those seeds are a joke and the committee is already illegitimate. Miami and ND in over Texas is a complete joke. OU being ranked above Texas is also a joke, tho they deserve to be in the playoffs despite their record being improbable. Offense being on the field is an actual detriment to their chances of winning the game but still won. It makes my head hurt.
