I'm on record as saying I want the SEC to burn the CFP to the ground. This would be the fastest path to that outcome. And I think the CFP would rather leave Alabama out, than to leave an entire conference (ACC) out by not dropping Alabama past Miami and moving Miami ahead of ND.

I know Miami beat Notre dame, but I’m not sure it’s right to put them ahead of ND. Start of the season ND? Sure. But not anymore.

It will never be the best 12 teams or they won't include the small schools and the current ACC. What kind of real conference allows a 7-5 team to play their title game while screwing over their top ranked team? These super conferences make it a joke anyway.

Yeah, it should be a SEC/B1G playoff. 2 G5s in the playoff is the perfect proof of how much of a farce this entire thing is. The 12 team playoff couldn’t even go 2 years before needing to be burned down. I hope Bama gets left out just to hasten the SEC killing this iteration of the playoff.

There's no need to go to 16. 12 Teams: SEC Champ and Runner Up and B1G 10 Champ and Runner Up get the 4 byes. The other 8 teams are the next top 4 teams by Conference Ranking (Conference record) from SEC and B1G, alternate seeding spots between the two conferences: #3 SEC, #3 B1G, #4 SEC, #4 B1G. Which conference gets the odd numbered seedings rotates each year.
