The way the money is spread out it leaves us with a lot of options and space, especially with clearing Clark off the roster. Clark was good for us, but he has fell off a cliff the last two years and his run D stats are worse than Parson's were last year so I am not to worried about him going to Dallas. The final year will be a bit dicey, but that shit always gets renegotiated or extended anyhow.
And you can't account for injury, really. He has been mostly healthy and even last year when he was dinged up he put up top numbers. I am more worried about Love's health than Parsons. If Jerrah had actually thought about it, This is not Aaron Rodgers with a glass jaw here. This is a 27 year old player at their apex of physical ability. The guy Jerrah should have demanded in the trade was Clark and I am fucking baffled at how we even got to keep him on the same roster as Parsons.
And I know people are calling Parsons a playoff bust, but that blowout two years ago was because the Dallas D let Aaron Jones run all over them (which he had been doing for years already) and the inability of Dallas to put points on the board and protect the football early. Mike McFatass as the HC was practically a gift wrapped guarantee of epic meltdown. Packer Fans knew this and even tried to warn the Cowboys fans. Jerrah hiring that idiot, let alone sticking with him as long as he did, is what did all the damage to that team.
