Parsons is great, but he’d have just drained the checking account here and gone to waste. Too bad we can’t trade Dak too.

I can see a world where getting 2 firsts and not having to pay $47M a year isn't the worst thing for Dallas in the medium term. But he could have gotten more draft capital had he made him available back before the Draft, and would have gotten picks that helped this year.
