Can I interest you in a lightly used Trey Lance?

Speaking as a Packer fan, that game went exceedingly well. I think that looking at the last two games, this might be the best GB D that I have seen in my lifetime. On the Offense, we pretty much overpowered the Commies with two of our O Line starters out which is god damn amazing. Love is hanging on to the ball a little longer than I would like and we left some points on the field (Refs were flag happy all night to both teams), but we moved the ball up and down the field. With our Defense, 27 is going to be more than enough to get it done. My only real concern is our kick coverage looks dicey. That pass rush was ferocious though, and if they actually called the holding that was going on every play this would have been a complete blowout.

For the Commies, I think they gave up on the run way too soon and they should have kept with the no huddle offense. They simply could not get any rhythm on Offense prior to garbage time because they got impatient early. Defense still needs work, which was expected, but their zone D just got torched and needs some overhauling. Their kicker is fine (our guy who is really good blew one last night to, so I think it was the weather/wind in play impacting the kick game) so don't go panic mode there. I think they will be competitive, but they have some things to work out for sure.

Hilariously, the fans were chanting "Thank you Jerry" in the post game interview when Parsons came out. That dude is clearly loving it here. Thank you Jerry is also on a billboard in the area according to my parents who live in Wisconsin still, which is hilarious. I am not going to go all Cowboys fan and declare Superbowl Champs after two games, but we looked really good out there and just put away two playoff contenders in 5 days to start the season. It is hard not to be excited.

I was actually thinking the Packers don't have that many points for how lopsided this game has been.
Did not need them for how dominant our ball control was. At one point in the third quarter, we had 2-1 time of possession plus we had back to back 90+ yard drives for scores. That is going to win you some games.

Was a two score game at the end which is lopsided for a packers win, really just happy to have won two games without being on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Certainly is reminiscent of both the 97 team and the 2011 team.

Gotta bring some more happiness to my Chargers bros. You fleeced the Pats on this one.

It's week 2. I hope you are all keeping track of the plane that flies around your team's stadium before the game!

The Dolphins are doing better this week, keeping up with a sub-.500 team, but they're all fired at the end of the year anyway - another appearance or two like last week and they may as well dismantle the team at the trade deadline, fire McDaniel, etc. and start their rebuild during this season.

Hmm I now have progressive car insurance as the carrier I was using pulled out of my state. Now when I see their commercials during a game I know I helped pay for them.

Re: Burrow, I thought it was just a high ankle sprain on camera, but its being reported as a toe injury - could be looking at another Purdy situation.

I didn't think the Bengals were a realistic 7th seed candidate, but that probably ends their chances.

I really thought they’d make the playoffs this year.

Is this yet another injury caused by the Bengals OL or was it not their fault for once?

No question that Barry Sanders is still the most talented player to ever have his career sabotaged by being drafted by a dysfunctional franchise but if anyone is nipping at his heels it's Burrow. At least he got close enough to smell a ring, Sanders only got past the first round of the playoffs once.
